Biggest dream accomplishment.
What is your biggest dream accomplishment? You are all going to think I am certifiably nuts but for me? It would be competing and completing an Iron Man competition. For those of you who are unfamiliar, it’s a tri-athelon comprised of a 2.4 mile swim, 116 miles on the bike and running a marathon (26.2 miles). It would probably take me 3-4 YEARS to train for something like that but honestly, I cannot think of time or place where I would be more proud than crossing that finish line.
Tell me. What are your big dreams? Do you think if you really set your mind to it you could accomplish them? I actually think I could do it.

I wanna be a rock star! I've pretty much decided that will never happen. *sigh*
I think you should quit your job and start training!
Believe me, Nutz, if my DH made enough money for the two of us, I would in a second.
The IronMan comes through here for it's qualifying often. It's amazing to watch how much these people beat themselves up, yet have the sheer willpower to get through it no matter what the pain.
My uber crazy dream would be to act on television. Totally something I'd never pursue as I'm not talented in that way.
My pretty crazy dream is to be a restauranteur. But you need money for that.
I think it would be awesome if you got to do the ironman. Way cool. It makes me a little swoony to think about that. :)
My biggest dream? Hmmmmm. I'm not really sure. I would love to travel the US in an RV. No set plan, just hop in the RV and go.
Otherwise, I don't really have any outlandish dreams. I'm a simpleton.
I've always wanted to do the RV thing too! DH and I just watched the movie Elizabethtown and we were talking about taking the road trip that Orlando Bloom takes at the end of the movie. Fun stuff!
Mmmmmmmm, Orlando Bloom. He is one yummy man.
Not shit Carey. While we were watching the movie,I actually told DH that I wanted to kiss Orlando. Yikes, plus the relationship between Orlando and Kirsten reminded of the person that made the elegant comment. *sigh*
I haven't seen the movie but Michelle knows that I want to kiss Orlando. All over his body.
*hugs* for the elegant comment.
Wow T-Kit, that would be an amazing accomplishment. DH is still trying to find the time to train for his first marathon. I can't imagine the training required for a triathalon. If you ever do decide to do this, let us know. I'd love to be there on the sidelines cheering you on.
I saw the movie Elizabethtown. I loved the trip he took. Was very heartwarming.
I've always wanted to do the RV thing also.
My big dream? I'll have to think about that.
Never in a million years would I do the RV thing! Travelling with the kids in a pop-up trailer thing cured me of that forever! I would love to just travel around the country, but look for me in 4 or 5 star hotels, lol.
My dream would be to be a competitive ice skater. A really good, Olympic caliber skater! This will never happen of course so I guess there is no point in starting "training".
Swami-you could do a skating routine at a big peep meet & we could hold pretend olympic flags. We could at least have Canadian and U.S. judges. :-)
Oooh! Great idea Kim!
Can I be the German judge?
Hiel Swami!
My biggest dream would be to own a bed 'n breakfast. I'm pretty sure that won't happen. I'm just not aggressive or ambitious enough. (or rich enough LOL).
My really impossible crazy dream would be to be a dancer. I'd like to be one of those cool dancers for pop stars. I don't want to be a hip-hop/rapper dancer cause I don't want to be shaking my bootie all the time LOL. Just a really cool dancer. I know it'll never happen because I just don't have the coordination or the "cool" factor.
One big dream that I believe I can eventually accomplish is to attend a really huge fancy New Year's Eve ball. The dream though is to be able to be slim enough to wear a truly magnificant beaded evening gown. Like the ones the beauty pageant contestants wear. It's a silly dream but one that I'd like to see happen.
Nookie-I went to a fancy NYE party a few years ago. Not like White House Innaguration type, but rather like grown-up prom type. It was fun to dress up in a flashy gown again & not be attached to a wedding party.
Now I want to buy a prom dress!
Will you be my prom date Swami?
Well, over the last year or two I've been thinking of opening up a candy store in the new mall that's slated to be built in our area. Can't aford it unless we sell our house which I would *LOVE* to do.
Nookie, I would love to be your date. Will you rent a powder blue tux?
I would also like to complete an Iron Man, but I don't think that is likely to ever happen.
My parents loved the photos of Thea and Bear, btw.
