DH got the offer this afternoon at 4:50 pm, making a handsome amount more than he makes here and with the cost of living difference, that's HUGE.
So, thank you for all of your thoughts and hopes!!! I can't even believe it's happening.
I...am...totally out of sorts! And that's a good thing!!!!! *HUGE GRIN*

Momma, unforunately no. DH has a start date of August 20. That doesn't give us a lot of time to sell our house, find a new one, close on both and move.
Congrats T-Kit! I'm so happy for the two of you. That was a loooong wait to hear the news.
You might want to rent an apartment first when you get there. That's what we did when we transferred to Atlanta. This way you can look around while you are there and see which area you'd like to have a house.

Nookie, we spent a great deal of time researching the areas before we went down there and then drove through 7 different areas to get an idea of where we wanted to live in proximity to the city. We've pretty much narrowed it down to the Huntersville area. Our real estate agent down there has been sending us listings, about 200 so far.
Kim, I will be a kept woman for about 3 months which should be long enough for me to get it out of my system. Heeee!
