It's absolutely lovely T-kit. A lot of the same features that I had in my other house. Love the hardwoods in the bathroom and separate garage doors are great. Nice to see all the trees around. So pretty!!!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Very bright and welcoming! I actually don't mind all the paint, but I'm kind of a paint ho. It's gotta be pretty bad for me to hate colors.

I love the big window by the tub.

It's funny but those big windows by the tub make me hate taking baths. even with shades, I still feel exposed and it just never feels as cozy as a bathroom without the window right there.

The garden tubs are wonderful though.

:(

All the rooms look the same to me. They all look like a tiny square with a dot in them. Maybe they'll look more interesting from my home computer.

(for some reason, my work blocks photobucket pics)

Does the house come with the pair of shoes in the foyer? :-)

Love the house! Wow 4 bedrooms! I wold die for 4 bedrooms now!

I dont' need to know how much at all but how were the prices? I mean was it cheaper to buy there than Albany area? Cost of Living cheaper?

Thsoe fences will hold the doggies in? I like the paint too.

Zombs, the fence has a wire mesh attached to it that you can't see in the photos.

Let's just say that we sold our 69 year old, 1500 sq ft home with no central air, no dishwasher, no attached garage with horrendous neighbors for $7000 less than what we bought this house for. It was a STEAL. The cost of living down there is about 15-19% less than Albany.

I am getting pretty excited!! I finally got to tell work. TEE is going to be backdoored!!! AHAHAHAHA! (Everyone can thank Carey for the wonderful use of the 'backdoor' expression. It's perfect!)

I never thought about the window thing, nookie. I suppose it would feel weird. I would like glass blocks. That way, it still lets light through, but you can't really see in clearly.

At first I thought you were referring to the Century 21 sign when you said "gold paint."

I love it. Love it. It looks very open. And think about what fun it will be to re-do it all.

Your house is gorgeous, TKit! I love the exterior style and the inside looks pretty impressive too. I like the kitchen - it looks user-friendly, if that's a term that applies to kitchens lol.

I still have tub envy. And I love a tub with a view! Don't let all the shy violets around here make you paranoid. Do a walkabout and decide how much anyone could possibly see in. If the yard is private don't worry about it during daylight hours. Night is more iffy - I would go for curtains then.

Maybe install shutters so that once you're down in the tub you can open it up to the view? And then close them up when you yourself are the view?

I think I agree with Swami about the shutters.

This is a beautiful house. I even called Mr. Puffy over to come see it on my monitor. One question...are the shoes extra or included in the price?

Congratulations!!

Beautiful house, Tkit. I think I'm almost as excited about it than you are. *grin*

Cannot wait for you to post pics showing the dogs in their new backyard and you in your new home.

I love your house TKit! It's so gorgeous. I especially love the moldings in the dining room. Have fun redecorating!

PS: Which bedroom do I get to use when I come to the race? :P

Dang, I know I read your post, and thought I posted, but appearantly not. Your new house is amazing looking! I yearn for a home like that with a fenced yard for the pups, too. One day!

Congrats, hon!
